Our August Flower class at ArtCaffé Market

This August, we hosted a floral masterclass at the fabulous ArtCaffé Market in Nairobi (such a great venue) a morning that brought together beauty, creativity, and a shared love of garden roses.

Our very own marketing manager, Cindy Cooper, was at the helm. With her background in floristry (and her deep love affair with garden roses), Cindy guided guests through the essentials of caring for and conditioning garden roses so they can look their best for longer. She also shared her tips on foam-free arranging, balancing numbers in an arrangement, experimenting with different vases, and perhaps most importantly learning to trust your own eye when something feels a little “off.”

And while there was plenty of learning, this was no ordinary class. There were mimosas, there was laughter, there were tables bursting with creativity and laughter. ArtCaffé Market provided delicious bites and the perfect setting, and together we created not just arrangements, but memories. It truly was a fabulous day.

At Tambuzi, we’ve always believed that roses are more than flowers. They tell stories, spark joy, and bring people together and this morning captured all of that and more.
