Quality System Policy

Tambuzi Limited was established in 1996 to provide garden scented and spray roses to the floriculture industry. We are based in Burguret, Turaco and Kisima and employ over 350 people.

Quality is important to our business because we value our customers. We strive to provide our customers with products and services which meet and even exceed their expectations.

We are committed to continuous improvement and have established a Quality Management System which provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance.

We have the following systems and procedures in place to support us in our aim of total customer satisfaction and continuous improvement throughout our business:

  • regular gathering and monitoring of customer feedback
  • a customer complaints procedure
  • selection and performance monitoring of suppliers against set criteria
  • training and development for our employees
  • regular audit of our internal processes
  • measurable quality objectives which reflect our business aims
  • management reviews of audit results, customer feedback and complaints

Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and are held in a Quality Manual which is made available to relevant levels of staff.

Although the Managing Director has ultimate responsibility for Quality, all employees have a responsibility within their own areas of work to help ensure that Quality is embedded within the whole of the company.

Tambuzi also has a process of  annual external audits to ensure that the systems and procedures are robust and verifiable. The quality systems are compliant with all relevant laws as well as contractual and statutory requirements.

The Directors and Management of Tambuzi will ensure that the operations of the company will minimize negative and maximum positive impacts on the environment and we will contribute positively to the community around us. All Tambuzi’s transactions will be carried out in an open and fair manner.

The Directors and Management of Tambuzi have committed themselves to lead and support the development and maintenance of the quality process for the benefit of the staff, the company and its customers.

The quality system and procedures will be reviewed regularly for suitability, adequacy and effectiveness and if necessary updated to ensure continued improvement.

The responsibility for quality will be adopted as an integral part of everyday work. Therefore, it is vital that every employee shares in the commitment to completing all work to agreed specifications and standards at all times.

This policy is publicly available, posted on the Company Notice Board, communicated during employee induction and can also be found in the employee handbook.
